Needing to take control of your Camaro or Firebirds rear suspension and eliminate the sloppy feeling? You can do it by using J&M Products new 4130 chrome-moly panhard rod. J&M has produced the only chrome-moly one piece no-weld double adjustable panhard rod on the market for the F-Body cars.

J&M designed their panhard rod for the customers who want the strongest non-deflecting panhard rod available. Unlike other chrome-moly panhard rods, they use 1.25" diameter 4130 tubing with .095" wall and do not have the weld-in bungs which add weight and must be normalized and stress relieved to achieve proper strength.

Anytime you weld chrome-moly the crystalline structure changes which makes the chrome-moly tubing and inserts the same strength as mild steel but also creates very brittle welds. To eliminate the affect of welding chrome-moly you MUST normalize, stress relieve, and heat treat the material to get it back to its original strength. J&M has accomplished a lighter and stronger panhard rod by swaging their tube down at the ends which allows them to thread directly into the tube without the need for the heavy weld in bungs which eliminates the need to weld on the material. J&M also threads the tube with left and right hand threads which allows you to adjust the panhard rod on the car for fast easy and accurate adjustments every time.
